We instill passion though training

What you sell is…passion

Every person is born with passion.  Passion for food is ingrained in each of us.  Isn’t there a food that you remember in your child hood that makes you feel special?  A food that makes you feel comforted?  Something your mother or grandmother made that is your personal comfort food?  That’s passion.  The food does not have to be expensive, beautiful or even of the highest quality.  How can you pass on that feeling?

I have been in hospitality for over 35 years.  I have 4 years of cooking school, 15 years in the kitchen and 20 years dealing directly with the customer.  I am a certified Sommelier with The Court of Master Sommelier and the International Sommelier Guild.  I understand the products.

I have been called “a tornado of passion”.  I want to share the excitement of food, wine and service.  I want others to get excited.  To have that experience of when a food and wine pairing makes magic.  To have a guest’s eyes open with delight.  That’s my passion.  That’s what I want to share.

There is passion within food and wine

Food passion

Each dish on a menu has a story.  Each ingredient has a person whose passion created the spark for the production.   We can bring as much illumination as necessary to bring the passion to life for an individual.  From “Caviar is the preserved eggs  fish” to “Caviar from the Iranian shores of the Caspian Sea, produces caviar that is considered the finest in the world”

wine passion

Passion for wine comes through exploring the whole process, from how it is produced, to how it is served.  Wine is an emotional product like fine gems.

There is a magic that  certain food and wine pairings can create.  To take two components (food and wine) and put together create a whole new experience is created.

service passion

To have the passion about the food and to create excitement with others is a positive human connection.  With the knowledge of the food and wines you are serving, you can focus on that emotional connection to create service that goes beyond the expected, beyond the norm, service that is able to create more passion.  Passion begets more passion.
